Options to Sell or List Equipment:
TKC certified equipment
The first option available for owners who are trying to
sell their equipment is to sell to TKC. We will appraise
the equipment and give you an estimate on a purchase price.
Advantages to this option: because your equipment is sold
directly to us, your equipment is sold quickly, there is
no negotiation on your part with potential customers, or
bothering with advertising. Because TKC refurbishes each
mill, you won't have costly repairs and upgrading of equipment.
Consignment
We can sell your equipment for you on a consignment basis.
Advantages to this option: your equipment would be at our
location where buyers can see equipment on display and you
won't have the hassle of taking phone calls or setting up
demonstrations of your equipment because we act on your
behalf in the sale. You also have the option of having TKC
refurbish the equipment.
Listings Only
Your equipment is advertised on our website and provided
to people without access to the internet. TKC also participates
in trade shows where all listings are displayed for viewing.
Advantages of this option: we are available by phone most
of the day, including after normal business hours, we provide
your name and telephone number to pre-qualified buyers.
We notify you by phone or mail each time we provide your
information. Final Sale: You negotiate directly with each buyer and
the buyer pays you for the equipment. We recommend that
you only accept a cashier's check from the buyer and that
you do not let the equipment off your property until you
are paid in full. Only after the transaction between you
and buyer is complete do you pay us. Our fee is 10% of
your final selling price. There is a minimum commission
for lower priced and harder to sell equipment. Call for
details.
Again, if we don't find you a buyer, there is absolutely
no charge to you. Our no risk advertising policy assures
that you only pay for what you sell.
